Seit über 10 Jahren führt Michael Lehmann als CEO die Studio Hamburg Production Group, die als Produktionsholding kreativ wie wirtschaftlich als einer der Marktführer in der deutschen Film- und Fernsehlandschaft tätig ist. Unter ihrem Dach agieren elf Tochter- und Beteiligungsunternehmen, die sich in Fiction und Non-Fiction aufteilen.
Als Produzent realisierte Michael Lehmann zahlreiche preisgekrönte Film-, Fernseh- und Kinoproduktionen. Unter anderem die 2013 produzierte Literaturverfilmung NACHTZUG NACH LISSABON, die international Erfolge feierte. 2015 zeichnet er sich außerdem als Produzent der Nazisatire HEIL verantwortlich, gefolgt - im Jahr 2017- von den Kinoproduktionen DIE PFEFFERKÖRNER UND DER FLUCH DES SCHWARZEN KÖNIGS und SIMPEL von Markus Goller. Zu Michael Lehmanns jüngsten Produktionen zählt die Kinoadaption der Kultserie BERLIN, BERLIN – DER KINOFILM (AT) und die Verfilmung der Rocklegende Udo Lindenberg mit dem Titel LINDENBERG! MACH DEIN DING!, die Anfang 2020 in die deutschen Kinos kommt.

For more than 10 years, Michael Lehmann has been CEO of Studio Hamburg Production Group, a production holding among the creatively and economically market-leading companies in the German film and television landscape. It unites eleven subsidiaries and shareholdings divided up into fiction and non-fiction.
As a producer, Michael Lehmann realised numerous award-winning film, television and cinema productions. Among them was the 2013 production NIGHT TRAIN TO LISBON, which was celebrated internationally. In 2015, he was the producer in charge of nazi satire HEIL, followed by the cinema productions DIE PFEFFERKÖRNER UND DER FLUCH DES SCHWARZEN KÖNIGS (“The Peppercorns and the Curse of the Black King”) and “SIMPEL” by Markus Goller in 2017. Among Michael Lehmann’s most recent productions are the cult series cinema adaptation BERLIN, BERLIN – THE FILM (WT) and the adaptation of rock legend Udo Lindenberg titled LINDENBERG! MACH DEIN DING! (“Do your thing!”) which will be released to German cinemas in early 2020.
