Christian Rohde
Produzent

Christian Rohde schloss im Jahr 2000 sein Studium im Szenischen Film an der Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg ab. Von 2000 bis 2009 war als Producer und später als Produzent bei teamWorx tätig, wo er mehrere Theaterfilme, Zweiteiler und Debütfilme produzierte. In dieser Zeit entstand u.a. der TV-Film ROSE, der 2007 mit dem Deutschen Fernsehpreis als bester Fernsehfilm ausgezeichnet wurde. 

Von 2010 bis 2016 leitete Rohde die Produktionsfirma Magic Flight Film als Geschäftsführer, wobei er zahlreiche Filme aller Genres (u. a. DER METZGER MUSS NACHSITZEN, WOYZECK) produzierte. Im Jahr 2016 wechselte er als Produzent zur UFA FICTION, wo er neben TV-Einzelstücken und -Reihen (DIE DIPLOMATIN, DIE INFORMANTIN) auch Entwicklungen im Bereich High End für den nationalen und internationalen Markt verantwortet. Darüber hinaus koordiniert er das Talentmanagement und die Nachwuchsaktivitäten bei der UFA.

Seit 2007 ist Christian Rohde auch als Dozent an der Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg tätig. Im Jahre 2017 übernahm er gemeinsam mit Gloria Burkert die Leitung des Studiengangs Produktion.

Christian Rohde finished his scenic film studies at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 2000. From 2000 to 2009 he worked as a producer at teamWorx, where he produced several theatre films, two-part films and film debuts. During this time, The TV film ROSE was created, which received the German Film Award for best television film in 2007. 

From 2010 to 2016, Rohde managed the production company Magic Flight Film as managing director, where he produced many films of all genres (among others “DER METZGER MUSS NACHSITZEN” (“Detention for the Butcher”), WOYZECK). In 2016, he joined UFA FICTION as a producer, where he has been responsible for several standalone TV pieces and series (“DIE DIPLOMATIN” (“The Diplomat”), “DIE INFORMANTIN” (“The Informer”)) as well as developments in the high-end sector for national and international markets. Beyond that, he coordinates talent management and young talent activities at UFA.

Since 2007, Rohde has also been teaching at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. In 2017 he took over as director of the production course of studies alongside Gloria Burkert.
