Jon Hill
Creative Director and Partner
Jon Hill started his editorial design career with a 6 year apprenticeship working with Simon Esterson on magazine and newspaper redesigns. He then started his own studio during which time he collaborated with Neville Brody on a redesign of the Times newspaper. He became Design Editor of The Times in 2007 launching the first UK newspaper edition app on iPad and the first ‘paywalled’ website for a newspaper. In 2014 he moved to the Telegraph to become their Creative Director, redesigning all of their core products across print, digital and brand. The new ‘slow journalism’ venture, Tortoise, was started at the end of 2018 where Jon was appointed Creative Director and Partner.
